Necessary Documents

1. Updated VA Rating Breakdown Letter

This is typically a one to two-page document. To request a copy you'll need to call the VA at 1-800-827-1000. Ask the representative “Please fax a copy of my updated VA breakdown letter with the diagnostic codes to 512-697-1145 or email it to my email address, if possible.”

Please have them address it to YOU and not Veterans Guardian. Be sure to verify your address or email with the agent.

2. VA Rating Decision Letter

If you haven't already sent this document to us, we will need an updated copy. This is the official decision letter that was emailed or mailed to you from the VA after your most recent claims we worked on together. It has the VA seal at the top/ middle of the page and explains what decision was made and why, and ends with a reference list.
